Tax Preparation:

Preparing your own income tax return can be a task that leaves you with more questions than answers. According to a study released by the US Government’s General Accounting Office last year, most taxpayers (77% of 71 million taxpayers) believe they benefited from using a professional tax preparer.

Today’s tax laws are so complicated that filing a relatively simple return can be confusing. It is just too easy to overlook deductions and credits to which you are entitled. Even if you use a computer software program there’s no substitute for the assistance of an experienced tax professional. The skilled staff at Leah’s Accounting Solutions will perform a detailed review to ensure you are getting all deductions qualified to take.

For my customers that have simple returns and would like to file electronically, please use the following link for self-prepared returns through 1040.com.

Individual Taxes – detailed review of personal finances in order to prepare accurate tax documentation and file with IRS and local state agencies. Review of prior year tax returns to look for additional savings/tax deductions.

Business Taxes –  focus on meeting the special needs of small businesses, including annual tax planning, preparation and filing of all quarterly payroll and sales tax forms, year end payroll  and 1099 MISC processing and tax returns. Primary focus is on small businesses, although we do have the ability to process taxes for Non-Profits, C-Corporations, S-Corporations, LLC’s and Partnerships.

Personal Money Management:

Life is a challenge. As the saying goes, just when you’re about to make ends meet, someone moves the ends. While it can be a struggle to pay bills, make the rent/mortgage payment and provide food and clothes for the family, we keep on doing our best.  Ultimately, the life we want—a better place to live, enough money to pay our bills and fewer concerns about finances—is possible if we keep focused on our goals.

Money management is the process of knowing where you are spending your money today and having a well-thought-out plan in place for where you want it to go in the future.  Here we walk you through the core concepts of money management and teach you how to:

  • Set Goals
  • Get Organized
  • Track Spending
  • Build a Budget
  • Save Money
  • Consolidate Debt
